Two doctors practice at this location in Amarillo with four exam lanes, low vision area, lab, and three dispensing areas. The doctors are Jaya M. Pathapati, O.D. and Randal D. Jentzen, O.D., M.B.A. After I sold my practice, I practiced in the commercial setting for over five years. The same was true for my partner. She had 600 square feet and I had 1100 square feet in our previous offices. Our new location has over 5000 square feet. We chose this amount as our plans include future growth and addition of a new O.D. hopefully in the near future.

This office is dedicated to low vision rehabilitation and rehabilitation of vision problems associated with stroke and other forms of brain injury or neurological disorders. Since we have utilized electronic medical records (EMR) from the beginning, the practice does not have a file room. Technology is all over the practice besides just EMR; we utilize Acuity Pro charts, Humphrey Topographer and Field Unit, Synemed/Cannon digital camera, and the OCT by Carl Zeiss.
