Rooms in Summit Vision Center - FOR SALE! - Dr. David Langford
- Intro (Other)
-
The practice is for sale to any O.D. willing to take over the payments to the financing company (Matsco). I will pay your first 12 months of the Matsco loans! See: www.optoblog.com
- Floor Plan (Other)
-
Here is the floor plan idea that I gave to my contractor. I first read Barbara Wright's optometric office design book, then incorporated many of her ideas.
- Entrance (Lobby)
-
From the common hallway, the new patient enters the office to see the rustic, brown-glazed, alder wood cabinetry, and they notice the wonderful color scheme of sauteed mushroom (light brown), Kodiak (dark brown), and Nettle (green).
- Reception Desk (Business Office)
-
Another view of the reception desk.
- Waiting (Waiting Room)
-
The waiting area has comfortable seats which match the color scheme and nice end tables to hold magazines and in office marketing materials.
- The Optical (Dispensary)
-
Notice the brown-glazed, rustic alder cabinetry. I utilized acrylic display rods and thick glass shelves to mix it up.
- Lab (Misc Interior Room)
-
I call this the lab, but I don't yet have an edger. Right now it just functions as a place to store orders and a place to put food on the counter top.
- Contact Lens-Special testing (Contact Lens Training Room)
-
This is picture #1 of the Pretesting/special testing/contact lens room. Having all 3 areas in one room works with my current volume of patients.
The door leads to a vestibule with an outside exit. It's a secret entrance for late doctors.
- Pretesting (Misc Interior Room)
-
This is picture #2 of the Pretesting/special testing/contact lens room.
- Hallway (Other)
-
A tour of the office isn't complete without the hallway! It's painted sauteed mushroom, but the camera didn't capture that.
- Exam #1 (Exam Room)
-
I think it's a law that all optometrists must have the famous Norman Rockwell picture somewhere in their office.
- Exam #2 (Exam Room)
-
Currently just being used for storage until patient volume increases.
